This is a type of advert that may be found in a music magazine. Although the Fragrance is meant for men, the fact that there is an attractive man half naked. Highlights that a woman may buy this for her husband or boyfriend as they want there man to be like the model on the advertisement. The blue colours give a fresh look to the audience. This may make the audience want to have this so they will feel fresh and re-invigorated.
There are many aftershave and perfume adverts in music magazine. Although I’m am not 100% why, I think it could be down to the fact that many people into popular music also have quite a “cool” image. This means that they would want to look good and smell good. Hence wanting to buy the fragrances. This is a portrait magazine. If a magazine does not have any adverts then it would be very hard for the magazine to make a profit therefore magazines are an essential bit of a magazine.
